Terms of service
1. The service
Be Chief is an iPhone app and a cloud service that helps you run clients, projects, people, tasks and calendar from what you type or dictate, with the help of an artificial-intelligence assistant. It is provided by the owner of Be Chief, Andrés García (hola@bechief.ai).
2. Invite-only beta
The service is in beta. Access requires an invite code, is free during the beta and may change, be interrupted or limited without notice. We will give you reasonable notice before introducing prices.
3. Your account
You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time from the app; that removes your content irreversibly.
4. Your content
What you upload or dictate is yours. You authorise us to process it only to provide the service (store it, transcribe it, send it to the AI model to generate answers, and show it to you). We do not use it to train models or share it with other users. You warrant that you have the right to process the data of the people you include.
5. The artificial intelligence
The assistant can make mistakes: mis-transcribe a name, summarise incompletely or propose a task that does not apply. That is why the changes it proposes to your context are shown to you for confirmation, and the drafts it generates are working material you must review before using. Be Chief does not provide legal, tax or any other professional advice.
6. Acceptable use and limits
You may not use Be Chief for unlawful activities, to process third-party data without a lawful basis, to try to access other users' data or to overload the service. There are daily limits on processed text and audio minutes, visible in Settings; once exceeded, the service waits until the next day.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially during the beta. We take daily backups; even so, we recommend exporting your content regularly from the app.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Be Chief is not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit arising from use of the service, nor for decisions taken on the basis of AI-generated content. Nothing here limits the rights granted to you by applicable consumer law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service whenever you want. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, notifying you unless urgent. When an account is closed, content is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will notify you in the app with reasonable notice. They are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence.
